PRIMARY SERIES PART ONE
In this session we will explore the fundamentals of breath, sun salutations, drishti (gazing points) and we will break down in detail the First Half of the primary series and the Finishing Postures. Foundations of technique and alignment will be discussed, modifications will be addressed where necessary.

PRIMARY SEIRES PART TWO
This morning session begins with some breathwork (pranayama) and a guided meditation, followed by a full primary series led class, focusing on details of the Second Half of the primary series. Technique and alignment of postures will be refined, allowing for efficiency of muscular force, correct breathing, and an increase in the flow of prana, our subtle, vital energy.

Afternoon: 13:30-16:00
INTRODUCTION TO SECOND SERIES
Accessible postures of the Intermediate Series such as Pashanana, Shalabasana, Ushtrasana Pinchamayurasana and Mukta Hasta Shirshasana will be introduced.
Foundations of technique, alignment and injury prevention will be addressed. Recommended for those who have a regular and consistent Primary Series practice along with proficient backbending.The session will end with a relaxation period and Short Kirtan.
